What is a Variant Generator?
The Variant Generator is an e-commerce tool that helps merchants quickly generate all possible variant combinations for a product. Simply enter a product category (e.g., t-shirt) and attributes (e.g., color, size), and the tool automatically calculates the Cartesian product to generate a complete list of variants and corresponding SKU codes.
How to Use the Variant Generator
- •Enter the product category in the first input field, e.g., tshirt, shoes, bag
- •Enter product attributes in the attributes box, one per line, format: attribute name: value1, value2
- •For example: Color: Black, White, Red and Size: S, M, L
- •Click the 'Generate Variants' button to see all combinations and auto-generated SKUs
